Been wanting to let you know that my daughter, Anna, graduated with honors (top 8% of class of over 800) from Basic Training Feb. 25th & is now in tech. school learning how to become a loadmaster on a C-5 (that big bellied plane that carries heavy equipment). She is the spittin image of me (poor child!), 5'2', 125lbs, & even has a Buel Blast motorcycle (not like a Harley, but sold by Harley). She is there in SA; her grandparents would have been sooo proud. She finishes up in tech. school in about 6 wks & then goes to Wash. state for survival school. God, I hope she doesn't have to eat bugs!!! Needless to say, we are SO proud of our 2-striper. She already almost has her private pilot's liscense & hopes to get a slot in OCS or OTS (whatever they call it) - officer candidate/training school to become a pilot. She's a go-getter!!!

Here are pictures taken at Anna's graduation.... Karen's husband, Al - Anna's dad - is in the plaid shirt. Karen of course is in the tan Harley t-shirt, Anna's brother, Joel, is in the green/grey shirt (Karen and Al's son), Whit (Al's son, Karen's step son, is in the white striped shirt).

Karen, You have to be bursting with pride over Anna. So good to see a young person with drive. Congrats.
