A connection from a long time ago

At the UNC graduation on 08 May of this year, Amanda Bennett Click was awarded her Ph. D.
Dr. Amanda Bennett Click
Amanda is the daughter of Richard Click, who would have been in the class of 1966 had his dad not gotten transferred to California before Richard's senior year.

For those of you all who don't remember Richard, here he is with Amanda at the wedding of Richard and Heather's son Ben a few years back. As Richard said, if you don't recognize him, he's the one with the gray hair (and the US Navy and US Air Force command pilot wings).

Life is interesting and old connections keep popping up in all kinds of interesting places.

Richard - so GOOD to see you and your beautiful family!! Congratulations on the accomplishments of your family. By the Way, you look marvelous and just as good looking as in your Junior year as my chemistry partner!!! Love, Gloria

Hi Richard, from your old next door neighbor both in Misawa and Randolph, Susan (Suzi King) Spencer! FINALLY found you! Melinda (Medley) Chayra and Sharon (Hennessey) Govern from Misawa and I have talked several times over the last few years and wondered where you are. It looks like you are doing very well! Your family looks delightful! Hopefully the next time a group of Ro-hawks gather you will join us. I sadly was a late comer to reunions, only the attending the last one.....however, I hope to not miss another - if we can talk Gloria to gather us together again.(I am VERY HOPEFUL these days that it will happen sooner than later!) Take care and if you are fortunate enough to still have your parents living, PLEASE give them my very best wishes!!! (My Dad died in 1993, and Mother just last year.) Susan
