These are pictures from Ed Kilford's birthday party in Austin on Friday nite (1/4/08). Ed is particularly glad to have this birthday because a week ago while riding on Mike Berish's tractor he was hurt while pulling some brush or a stump ... the chain broke and whipped up around or by Ed's head. Ed and Mike ended up spending most of that evening in the ER. Ed got 33 stitches around his left ear!!
Gloria and Danny Gallagher (yes, he does exist), John Hines, Mike Berish and Ed and Colleen and their neighbors along with 4 pots of chilli and 3 pots of soup and lots of wine, sat around the patio fire pit and counted our blessings.
However, boys will be boys .... they had to check out whether mentos dropped into a 2 liter bottle of diet coke would spew ----- it did and and no animals or humans were injured in conducting this experiment!
