Today was really warm - the weather has been really weird - hot, cold, hot, cold. Anyway, Janet Watkins Jendron was in Austin visiting her mom and brothers and on her way down to San Antonio we met at Applebee's for a snack. Everytime we have our picture taken we hope our necks don't look too bad!!! I look a little bit sleepy for some reason.....
Janet visited Mr. Porter at home while she was in San Antonio. He has had a few set backs but he is home now and doing OK.... He loves hearing from you so keep it up. Tonight we were invited to Carol Rankin's house for dinner. Carol recently moved to a new home in New Braunfels and wanted to try out entertaining with a few people. Big party to follow... everyone's invited.... more later................. (Just kidding). Danny and I joined Sandy Holt and John Hines at Carol's new house and we enjoyed a nice meal and conversation. No cigars!!!Does anyone have pictures of their New Year's festivities or inactivities?
