Karen Poor Peck and I went to Colorado to visit Janet Francis Murillo last week (3/7 to 3/14). We had a blast and I'll of course be posting the pictures but I thought you'd enjoy seeing a few specific ones of the people we saw in various parts of Colorado..... so this is our visit of Leadville, Co. and Sue Livingston Johnson.... Sue would love to hear from you...

We ate lunch in Leadville at the Golden Burro and Sue took us on a tour through Leadville of all the old houses. Her house is the little blue Victorian ... there was lots of snow but it was curiously warm!! Sue's email is: suejohns@bresnan.net

MY DAD - BILL CAMPBELL

I found this picture of my dad taken while we lived on BB Street on Base (probably about 1965). Our neighbors named him Commander of BB Street because he would cut everyone front yards and basically was the neighborhood watch.... Note, bike, lawnmower, edger, ice water and sunglasses - he's ready for anything...

Sue and her husband Bill traveled to INDIA to celebrate their 32nd anniversary!!! Below you will see a few of their pictures. The Taj Mahal is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. That must have been pretty special to actually be there and have your picture taken in front of it.

SUSAN KING SPENCER '66

I found Suzi King on Facebook!! Susan King Spencer, lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is a former Kindergarten teacher, now retired. After getting married to Jim Spencer (who was a captain in the AF at the time) in Wiesbaden, Germany in 1970, they lived Boston MA (at Hanscom AFB) for one year, then lived in Houston from 1971-1982, and have lived in Colorado Springs since 1982. They have two kids.... a daughter, Stephanie, who is 34, married to Steve and one son, Ryan, is 32. No grandkids yet!! She does a lot of volunteer work in her church - Grace and St. Stephen's Anglican Church and spends a lot of time taking care of her mom, Doris, who is 93 and Steve's mom, 86 years of age. Both moms live in the same retirement community not far from Suzi's house. The group picture is of their son, Ryan, Sue's mom, Doris, Suzi's husband, Jim, Suzi and their daughter Stephanie. The other picture is of Suzi and her dog, Daisy.

THE NORTONS - FINALLY EXPECTING A GIRL!!!

After 52 years the Norton family announces that the family via Kathy and Rick Norton's son, Matthew and his wife, are expecting a girl. Kathy and Rick have 3 sons, they have 3 grandsons and now a new little girl. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Here's a picture of me taken this morning. Let me explain the context. My sister Janet treated the extended family (a dozen folks) to a night in a wildlife sanctuary a little southwest of Dallas (Fossil Rim). This morning we rode in an open vehicle through the park. Each of us had one cup of food to feed the critters. I was sitting with mine between my legs when a giraffe looked down and spotted it. This was me a second or two later as I had raised the cup a few inches while the giraffe helped itself. Hard to say "no" in this circumstance.
